Kwaku Boateng, born in Ghana and moved to Canada when he was barely 2 years old, is now a rising star in the Canadian Football League (CFL) and has recently re-signed with the Edmonton Eskimos. Kwaku prides himself on his athletic ability as well as his intellect. Kwaku obtained his Honours BBA from Wilfred Laurier University with a focus in accounting and economics and he is currently working towards achieving the CFP designation (Certified Financial Planner) with the goal of becoming a financial advisor when he finishes his football career.
While working towards his BBA, Kwaku played for the Wilfred Laurier Golden Hawks for all four years and was a 4-time Academic All-Canadian.

Kwaku loves being active in many different ways, including weight training, hot yoga, and of course improving his craft on the football field.
Kwaku considers his greatest accomplishment to be being an Academic All Canadian all throughout his university career. He prides himself on being more than an athlete and believes that he embodies what it means to be a true student athlete.
