Justin Howell, a defensive lineman for the Ottawa Redblacks in the CFL, is not only a professional football player, but also a health and fitness fanatic. Justin loves being in the gym and getting active in the outdoors. One of his favourite pastimes is canoeing or paddle boarding.
Justin’s passion for fitness began with his pursuit of greatness, always striving to work harder than those around him with the goal of being remembered for his accomplishments as well as his work ethic. Now working towards becoming a Certified Personal Trainer, Justin can’t wait to help others reach their own health and fitness goals.
Favourite Way to Sweat
One of Justin’s favourite ways to sweat is with hot yoga. He also loves doing Olympic style lifts, such as cleans, squats, and deadlifts.
Favourite Way to Recover Post-Workout
Justin’s post-workout routine involves a good mobility session to help with recovery, as well as some meditation before bed.
Justin considers his greatest accomplishment to be getting drafted to the Ottawa Redblacks and making the roster.
